RFB 062624 Operation of Mobile Food Truck Taylorsville LSP

Background
The Commonwealth of Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet Division of Real Properties is seeking bids for the operation of a modern, mobile food truck providing canteen, concession, and catering services at Taylorsville Lake State Park in Taylorsville, Spencer County, Kentucky. The operation of the food truck(s) shall be for the months of March through November of each year. The successful bidder(s) will be required to provide all inventory and staff for the entire food truck concessions agreement and a vehicle by which to provide modern, mobile canteen, concessions, catering-type operation for events at Taylorsville Lake State Park.

Work Details
The bidder must provide nationally known brands of products such as gourmet hamburgers, loaded hotdogs, tacos, pizza slices, vegan and vegetarian bowls, barbecue, bottled water, funnel cakes, bagged cotton candy, chips, candy, sodas, etc.
The successful bidder(s) shall provide a tablet-type payment system to accept credit cards.
The licensed premises shall be used exclusively for the right to provide modern, mobile canteen, concessions, and catering operations for events at Taylorsville Lake State Park.
The bid amount will be evaluated based on the percentage of gross receipts and the bidder’s experience in operating a food truck providing concessions.

Period of Performance
The License Agreement(s) established from this Request for Bids will be a one-year period beginning upon award of the project and continuing one year thereafter with the option to renew automatically for five additional one-year license periods unless terminated earlier.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for this contract is Taylorsville Lake State Park in Taylorsville, Spencer County, Kentucky.
