Background
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, through the Finance and Administration Cabinet, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) on behalf of the Kentucky Department of Agriculture (AGR).
The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for promotional goods and services that will primarily support the Kentucky Proud brand. Work Details
The vendor will provide a range of promotional goods and services including:
1. Consulting and Design: Assistance in designing artwork on a case-by-case basis, including coordination with third-party agencies for artwork. All designs created will become the property of the Agency.
2. Order Fulfillment: Efficient order processing including inventory management, tagging, packaging, labeling, and shipping. The vendor must also provide kitting and assembly services.
3. Merchandising: Ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed at retail locations.
4. Warehousing: Maintaining sufficient inventory to fulfill online orders and retail replenishment.
5. Delivery Timeline: Orders must be delivered within seven business days unless otherwise agreed upon.
6. Customer Service: Addressing inquiries within 48 hours and providing regular reports on customer support issues.
7. Brand Management/Quality Control: Ensuring compliance with agency brand standards during production.
8. Cost Transparency/Flexibility: Providing detailed pricing breakdowns based on item type and quantity.
9. Technical Integration: Offering technology that integrates with agency systems for real-time inventory visibility.
10. Compliance: Adhering to all relevant industry regulations.
Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract shall be from the effective date of award through August 31, 2026, with options for four additional one-year renewals upon mutual agreement.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily in Frankfort, KY, with potential delivery to various locations as specified by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture.
