Perkins Building Elevators Upgrade

Background
Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) is seeking bids for the upgrade of the elevators in the Perkins Building located on their Richmond, KY campus. The goal of this contract is to enhance the functionality and safety of the elevator systems within the building. This enhancement is essential for supporting the university's mission to provide quality education and facilities for its students and staff.

Work Details
The project involves furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the elevator upgrades as specified in the solicitation documents. This includes compliance with all requirements outlined in the bid event and attachments. The work will commence immediately following an official award of contract and purchase order from EKU. The estimated cost for this project is $350,000.00.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in EKU's eProcurement system to participate in this solicitation. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for February 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST at the Perkins Building. Bids are due by February 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST via Jaggaer. Bid bonds and performance bonds are required unless otherwise stated.
