Mobile Diagnostic Service

Background
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, through the Kentucky Department of Veteran Affairs, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to secure mobile diagnostic services for the Robert E. Spiller Bowling Green Veterans Center (BGVC).

The goal of this contract is to provide essential mobile routine x-ray, diagnostic, and related services to veterans residing at the facility. The BGVC aims to enhance healthcare accessibility and ensure timely medical evaluations for its residents.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services upon request from the BGVC:
1. All routine x-ray services;
2. Ultrasound services for any part of the body as requested;
3. All types of dopplers;
4. EKG;
5. ECHO;
6. Midlines;
7. PICC line placements;
8. Other related diagnostic services.

Services must be performed by certified professionals in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The contractor must respond to service requests within four hours, preferably within two hours, and for STAT orders within one hour. Results must be read by a board-certified radiologist, with written reports provided to BGVC within four hours (one hour for STAT requests). The contractor must also comply with all federal, state, and local guidelines relevant to long-term care facilities.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is anticipated to be from March 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, with options for renewal for up to two additional two-year periods.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Robert E. Spiller Bowling Green Veterans Center located at 100 Veterans Drive, Radcliff, KY 40160.
