Merchant Card Services & Tuition Payment Management Services

Background
The University of Kentucky (UK) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified firms to provide merchant card services, including credit card processing, managed tuition payment services, and alternative online and mobile payment solutions.

The goal is to minimize costs, enhance customer service, and improve operational efficiencies while ensuring compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). The University aims to leverage technology for innovative payment solutions and reduce administrative burdens associated with merchant payment services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1. Credit card processing services for various payment methods including face-to-face, mail-in, phone-in, and internet-based transactions.
2. Managed tuition payment services integrated with the University’s ERP system for processing online payments.
3. Upgrading existing point-to-point encrypted (P2PE) devices used throughout the University.
4. Access to customizable hosted payment pages for eCommerce merchants.
5. Innovative electronic reporting capabilities and excellent customer service support for University merchants.
6. Reduction of third-party systems in use across the University.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and continue for a period as specified in the final agreement, with performance expected to align with the University's operational needs.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the University of Kentucky's campuses in Lexington, KY.
