This is a request for proposals for furnishing HVACR new/replacement work within FCPS. Types of work under this contract shall include but not be limited to all types of interior and exterior HVACR work including, water source and geothermal heat pump systems, roof top units, split systems, dehumidifiers, air dryers and window air conditioners; exterior underground and aboveground repairs and new installations; HVACR interior piping within walls, above ceilings, and under floor repairs and new installations; HVACR interior and exterior installations of chilled water and/or direct expansion piping for air conditioning and refrigeration; and other HVACR work.

Background
The Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) is seeking proposals for HVACR service and repair to support their facilities. The contract aims to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of HVACR systems, which are critical for the comfort and safety of students and staff. The successful contractor will provide a range of HVACR services, including installation, repair, and maintenance.

Work Details
The scope of work includes all types of interior and exterior HVACR work such as:
- water source and geothermal heat pump systems;
- roof top units;
- split systems;
- dehumidifiers;
- air dryers;
- window air conditioners;
- exterior underground and aboveground repairs;
- HVACR interior piping within walls, above ceilings, and under floors;
- installations of chilled water and/or direct expansion piping for air conditioning and refrigeration.

The contractor must respond to service calls within two hours after notification. All work must be supervised by the FCPS Director of Maintenance or designee. The contractor is responsible for providing skilled labor, tools, materials at public pricing, and ensuring site cleanliness post-service.

Period of Performance
The contract term is from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, with potential renewals for four additional one-year terms based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed within Fayette County, Kentucky.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a Master HVACR contractor's license and a minimum of 12 licensed journeyman HVACR mechanics. At least five technicians must have completed advanced VRV Daikin factory training. Bidders should also provide proof of EPA certification for mechanics, a current customer list with three references for similar services provided, and their three most recent Experience Modification Ratings (EMR). Additionally, bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding safety and environmental standards.
