FW-007-24 -Veterans Memorial WMA Shooting Ranges

Background
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is soliciting for the construction of shooting ranges at the Veterans Memorial Wildlife Management Area. The shooting ranges are part of a larger project that includes the construction of a new building with administrative offices, classrooms, and restrooms.

Work Details
The project involves the construction of shooting ranges, including a 50-yard range and a 100-yard range. The shooting ranges will be constructed by a qualified Range Design Vendor as a subcontractor. The responsibilities of the Range Design Vendor include building range berms, earthwork, precast concrete 'T' wall, bullet trap, range canopies, concrete slabs, sidewalks, baffles, target lines, and targets.
The shooting ranges are expected to adhere to provided design and specifications to achieve a 'No Blue Sky' standard.

Period of Performance
The solicitation closes on May 22, 2024. A site visit meeting is scheduled for May 8, 2024. The project contacts include the Architect, Consultant, Project Manager, and Purchasing Agent.

Place of Performance
The shooting ranges will be located at the KDFWR Veterans Memorial WMA Shooting Range in Sadieville, KY.
