Assent Preservation Pool - Patterson Office Tower Partial Renovation (5th Floor)

Background
The University of Kentucky is issuing a solicitation for the renovation of the 5th floor of the Patterson Office Tower as part of their Asset Preservation Pool project. The goal of this contract is to enhance and preserve the university's facilities, ensuring they meet current standards and serve the needs of the university community.

Work Details
The project involves the renovation of approximately 9,675 gross square feet (GSF) on the 5th floor of the Patterson Office Tower. This includes all necessary labor, materials, supplies, tools, appliances, equipment, and services required for completion. The work must adhere to specifications and drawings prepared by Tabitha McFarland and approved by the Construction Procurement Section.

Period of Performance
The contractor is expected to achieve Substantial Completion within 395 consecutive calendar days from the date specified in the Work Order letter. Final Completion is required 30 days after Substantial Completion.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Patterson Office Tower located at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.

Bidder Requirements
Bids must be submitted by Prime Contractors on a Lump Sum Amount basis. All bids must include a bid guarantee of at least 5% of the base bid amount. A 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond are required from the successful bidder as a condition of the contract.
