Background
The City of Topeka is seeking bids for the purchase of a truck mounted changeable message sign. This initiative is part of the city's efforts to enhance traffic management and communication with the public.

Work Details
The contract involves providing a truck mounted changeable message sign that meets the following specifications:

1. Display Panel: 48 x 78 inches
2. Extended Full Matrix: 30 x 56 pixels
3. 2 LEDs per pixel
4. Capable of displaying 3 lines of 9 characters per line (5 x 7 default font) and up to 3 lines of 12 characters per line (3 x 7 font)
5. Legible from a minimum distance of 500 feet
6. Panel construction must be aluminum
7. Operating dimensions: Height - 57 inches, Width - 89 inches, Length - 27 inches;
Travelling dimensions: Height - 32 inches, Length - 49 inches
8. The sign must be programmable from inside the truck cab and have power tilt functionality controlled from the controller.
9. The message board and controller must operate using the vehicle’s organic 12V battery system.

Period of Performance
The message sign must be delivered within 30 days of issuing the Purchase Order.

Place of Performance
Delivery is to be made F.O.B. destination, freight prepaid and allowed to the City of Topeka, Traffic Operations Division, located at 927 NE Harrison St., Topeka, KS 66608.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit an itemized detailed quote for the product, a product catalog cut sheet, and a list of any exceptions to the specifications provided.
