Perimeter Road Pavement - Lansing

Background
The Lansing Correctional Facility is seeking competitive bids for the Perimeter Road Pavement Project. The goal of this contract is to repave the perimeter road located at the facility in Lansing, Kansas. This project is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve infrastructure.

Work Details
The project consists of milling and overlaying approximately 10,800 square yards of asphalt over the current gravel surface of the exterior perimeter road. The asphalt must be installed at a minimum depth of 5 inches (3 inches base and 2 inches asphalt surface) with a finished road width of 24 feet.

Additionally, the contractor will supply and install four manhole risers, provide transitional grading to existing concrete surfaces at four locations, and include tack oil on all surfaces to be paved. All work must comply with the 2015 Kansas Department of Transportation Specifications and latest special provisions active on the date the project is awarded. A minimum one-year warranty for both workmanship and materials is required.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed before November 15, 2026.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must obtain a current Tax Clearance Certificate from the Kansas Department of Revenue prior to bid submission. Additionally, bidders are required to submit various forms including a completed Immigration Reform and Control Certification, Sexual Harassment Form, Boycott of Israel Certification, Certification of Procurement, and a signed copy of any amendments related to this bid event.
