Patrol Fleet Equipment Install/Purchase Additional Equipment

Background
The City of Hutchinson is seeking bids for the installation and purchase of equipment for their patrol fleet, specifically for 2026 Dodge Durango vehicles. The goal is to equip fifteen new patrol vehicles with necessary equipment and transfer existing equipment from older models. This initiative supports the mission of the Hutchinson Police Department to maintain an effective and modern fleet for public safety.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Transferring equipment from fourteen 2023 Dodge Durangos and one 2021 Dodge Durango to thirteen new 2026 Dodge Durangos.
2. Installing new equipment in two of the 2026 Durangos as specified, which includes:
- (1) Whelen 54” Legacy DUO WeCanX Lightbar
- (1) Whelen Cencom Core Lighting/Siren Controller With CCTL7 Control Head
- (1) Whelen SA315U 100w Siren Speaker With Bracket
- (1) Whelen Howler – Low Frequency Siren System
- (2) Whelen ION Perimeter Lights
- (4) Whelen ION T-Series – Rear Bumper
- (2) Whelen ION DUO T-Series – Mounted To Sides Of Push Bumper With White Override
- (2) Sound Off MPower 3” Fascia Lights – Mounted Inside Hatch
- (2) Sound Off Intersector Under-Mirror Lights – Dual Color – With White Override
- (1) Setina PB400L Push Bumper with (2) Whelen ION (One Red, One Blue)
- Additional items including Jotto consoles, ProGard transport cages, gun lock systems, antenna kits, and various electrical components. The total bid must include prices for all items listed and any applicable discounts.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon acceptance of the bid and will continue until all specified work is completed. Delivery dates will be coordinated with the arrival of the new vehicles.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the City of Hutchinson, Kansas, specifically at locations designated by the Hutchinson Police Department.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a current W9 form and comply with local purchasing policies. Vendors are encouraged to submit bids electronically through the City’s website. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and prefers vendors domiciled within Reno County under certain conditions.
