The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) is seeking bids for the procurement of one Microfilm Reader/Scanner. This initiative aims to enhance KDOT's capabilities in managing and accessing microfilm records, which are essential for various transportation-related documentation and historical data.

Work Details
The contract involves providing a Microfilm Reader/Scanner with the following specifications:

- **Hardware:** 26 megapixel camera or larger, Optical Zoom Range: 7x to 105x, Camera Orientation: Portrait and landscape. The device must be capable of scanning 16mm microfilm, 35mm microfilm, 16M Cartridges, Aperture cards, and Microfiche cards. It should have USB 3.0 & USB 2.0 compatibility and operate on a power supply of 100-240VAC at 50/60Hz.

- **Software features** must include Focus-Lock for continual image focus during optical zoom, Fit-to-window display, Magnifier with digital zoom up to 1575x, Mirror function for image mirroring, Auto-Adjust for brightness and contrast adjustments, Previous/Next image navigation, Digital image rotation options (90, 180, 270, and 360 degrees), selectable resolution from 150 dpi to 2000 dpi, and support for file formats such as PDF, TIFF, JPEG (single and multi-page). The operating system compatibility should include both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows 11.

Period of Performance
The delivery of the Microfilm Reader/Scanner is expected by September 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The product will be delivered to KDOT's location at 700 SW Harrison St., Topeka, KS 66603.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must obtain a current Tax Clearance Certificate from the Kansas Department of Revenue prior to submitting their bid. Additionally, bidders are required to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA) and submit a Certification Regarding Immigration Reform form with their bid response. Bidders must also certify that they are not engaged in a boycott of goods or services from Israel as per HB 2482.
