JCCC Foundation Capital Campaign Consultant

Background
The Johnson County Community College Foundation is seeking a qualified firm or consultant to provide capital campaign consulting and fundraising services. The goal is to raise at least $40 million over a period of 2.5 years to support the Foundation's mission of enhancing access to education and advancing institutional excellence through financial support.

Work Details
The consultant will provide the following services:

1. Feasibility Study: Evaluate donor and campaign potential through interviews with stakeholders, prospective donors, and community leaders; inform fundraising strategy; include budget, staffing, and volunteer leadership needs.

2. Campaign Plan: Develop a plan including volunteer structure, job descriptions, prospect research, timeline, and tracking structure for gifts.

3. Volunteer Structure and Training Materials: Support training for leadership volunteers in outreach and donor meetings; recommend event strategies for different phases of the campaign.

4. Donor Pipeline Analysis: Assist in qualifying donors and developing cultivation strategies.

5. Periodic Progress Reports: Provide updates to the Foundation board and other stakeholders as requested.

6. Stewardship and Recognition Plan: Advise on naming opportunities to ensure ongoing support for JCCC.

7. Final Campaign Assessment.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be one year, with the possibility of two one-year extensions based on annual notice.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Johnson County Community College located in Overland Park, Kansas.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must demonstrate past performance in similar capital campaigns, provide references, disclose any conflicts of interest, and confirm compliance with all terms outlined in the RFP/RFB.
