IT Boot Camp Course Offering - RFP

Background
The University of Kansas (KU) is seeking proposals for an IT Boot Camp Course Offering to enhance its educational offerings in technology-related fields. The goal of this contract is to provide a comprehensive training program that aligns with the university's mission to deliver high-quality education and meet the demands of the job market in areas such as Web Development, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, UI/UX, and Artificial Intelligence.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for developing and delivering a series of boot camp courses that cover various IT topics. Specific requirements include:

1) Providing sample syllabi or outlines for at least two proposed programs;
2) Documenting the curriculum review cycle and employer feedback integration;
3) Ensuring compliance with accessibility standards;
4) Offering student support services throughout the lifecycle of the program;
5) Implementing a career placement model and employer engagement strategies;
6) Providing marketing materials and strategies tailored to the Kansas City area;
7) Outlining a revenue-sharing model with KU.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and will run for an initial period of three years, with potential extensions based on performance and mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The primary location for course delivery will be at the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS, with options for online or hybrid formats as necessary.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate experience in providing similar educational services, comply with all applicable state and federal regulations regarding non-discrimination, and have a proven track record in curriculum development. Additionally, bidders must submit required documents including financial statements, tax clearance certificates, and proof of compliance with accessibility standards.
