Background
The Hutchinson Correctional Facility is seeking proposals for Building Control Systems to enhance its operational capabilities. The facility aims to implement advanced control systems that will improve efficiency and security within the institution. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is part of the agency's ongoing commitment to modernize its infrastructure and ensure compliance with state regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive Building Control Systems, which may include but are not limited to:
- Installation of HVAC control systems
- Lighting control systems
- Security access controls
- Monitoring systems.
The proposal should detail the specific technologies and methodologies to be employed, including any brand names or models of equipment proposed. Additionally, bidders must outline their approach to integrating these systems with existing infrastructure at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on December 1, 2025, and conclude on November 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility located in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable federal and state laws regarding immigration reform and control. They must also certify that they are not currently engaged in a boycott of goods or services from Israel as per HB 2482. Additionally, bidders should provide a Tax Clearance Certificate as part of their submission to demonstrate compliance with Kansas tax laws.
