Autism Waiver Assessments

Background
The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to provide assessments for individuals on the Home and Community Based (HCBS) Autism Waiver.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that individuals receiving services under the Autism Waiver are assessed appropriately to meet their needs.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments for individuals enrolled in the HCBS Autism Waiver.

This includes evaluating the individual's needs, strengths, and preferences to develop appropriate service plans. The assessments must adhere to KDADS guidelines and standards, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.

The contractor may also be required to participate in training sessions provided by KDADS to ensure compliance with state regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027, with an option to renew for one additional twelve-month period.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the state of Kansas, specifically targeting individuals enrolled in the HCBS Autism Waiver.
