Admin Services for Workers Compensation Insurance

Background
The Kansas Insurance Department is seeking competitive bid proposals from qualified vendors to provide Administrative Services for the State of Kansas Workers Compensation Insurance Plan.
The goal of this contract is to ensure effective management and administration of the Workers Compensation Insurance Plan, which is crucial for supporting the state's workforce and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative services related to the Workers Compensation Insurance Plan. This includes but is not limited to:
- Managing claims processing
- Maintaining accurate records
- Providing customer service support to injured workers and employers
- Ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations
- Preparing reports as required by the Kansas Insurance Department.
The contractor must demonstrate experience in handling similar administrative tasks effectively.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on January 1, 2026, and will continue through December 31, 2031.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Topeka, Kansas, or as directed by the Kansas Insurance Department.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable federal and state laws including the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA). They must also provide a Tax Clearance Certificate from the Kansas Department of Revenue. Additionally, bidders must certify that they are not engaged in a boycott of goods or services from Israel as per HB 2482 from the 2018 Legislative Session. Bidders should have a minimum of five years of experience in providing similar services.
