Background
The Michigan Municipal Services Authority (Authority) is a public body corporate created by an interlocal agreement between the City of Grand Rapids and the City of Livonia.
The Authority's mission is to engage in cooperative activities with other Public Agencies to enhance efficiencies and reduce costs. This Request for Proposals (RFP) aims to provide Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity Solutions for Local Government, ensuring sufficient coverage for participating Public Agencies through multiple awarded contracts.
Work Details
The Authority invites proposals from vendors delivering cybersecurity, cloud, and enterprise technology solutions that improve digital infrastructure resilience.
Respondents must demonstrate how their services drive measurable savings, improve uptime, or reduce exposure to cyber threats. Solutions may include:
- Network security
- Identity management
- Data recovery
- Cloud migration
- Managed technology services.
Hardware-only offerings or single-function tools not part of an integrated modernization or security strategy are excluded.
Period of Performance
The initial term of the resulting contracts will be three years, with an option to renew annually for a total potential term of up to five years.
Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within the jurisdiction of the Michigan Municipal Services Authority and its participating Public Agencies.
