Vegetation management services are being requested for the public right of way, including but not limited to pruning branches, cutting down trees and shrubs, stump grinding, root chasing, and removal of herbaceous material. All vegetation that is cut or ground must be promptly removed from the site after completion of work. The scope of work may be associated with other construction projects, necessitating coordination with other contractors. When instructed, stumps and roots must be ground at least 8 inches below ground level and 6 inches beyond the designated work area to facilitate proper concrete setup and pouring. Work may involve both pre-coordinated locations for tree removal and stump grinding, as well as emergency requests that require a response within 48 hours. The Fort Wayne - Right of Way Department is the requesting agency for this contract. Contractors interested in submitting quotes should ensure all requirements are met as outlined, including timely removal of debris and adherence to specified grinding depths and coordination requirements.
