Window Replacement Trial Area Project

Background
The La Salle County Board is seeking bids for the Window Replacement Trial Area project at the La Salle County Governmental Complex located at 707 E. Etna Road, Ottawa, Illinois 61350.
The project aims to replace a single run of windows in the Assessor's Office to assess the overall scope of work needed for future full-scale facility window replacements.

Work Details
The work includes the replacement of approximately 190 square feet of aluminum window system/glazing at the Governmental Center.
The contract type is a single prime lump sum contract.
Bids must comply with all provisions related to wage rates, discrimination, sexual harassment, and equal employment opportunity as mandated by the State of Illinois.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be performed following the bid acceptance on May 8, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the La Salle County Governmental Center, 707 E. Etna Road, Ottawa, Illinois 61350.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders are required to provide bid security of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount.
The successful bidder must furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond for the full contract amount.
A criminal background investigation for all employees involved in the project is mandatory, including completion of specific forms from the Illinois State Police.
Compliance with prevailing wage laws as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor is required.
Bidders must also provide a certificate of insurance in accordance with La Salle County Resolution No. 21-81 and submit evidence of compliance with 'responsible bidder' criteria defined in specific county resolutions.
