Township Aggregate

Background
The Lee County Highway Department is issuing a solicitation for the procurement of aggregate materials for various townships. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary materials for road construction and maintenance, ensuring compliance with state specifications and standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for supplying and delivering Aggregate Surface Course, Type B, and Sub-base Granular Material, Type B. The quantities required are as follows:
- Alto Township: 2000 tons
- Ashton Township: 1300 tons
- Bradford Township: 5000 tons
- Brooklyn Township: 1000 tons
- East Grove Township: 3000 tons
- Lee Center Township: 3000 tons
- Marion Township: 5000 tons
- Nelson Township: 1000 tons
- Palmyra Township: 5000 tons
- South Dixon Township: 500 tons
- Sublette Township: 2000 tons
- Viola Township: 1500 tons
- Willow Creek Township: 6000 tons
- Wyoming Township: 2500 tons
- Franklin Grove Township: 1000 tons. All materials must conform to the specifications outlined in the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, specifically Section 402 for Aggregate Surface Course and Section 311 for Sub-base Granular Material. Delivery must be made to designated locations as specified by the township road commissioners.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue through the end of the calendar year. Specific delivery timelines will be coordinated with the Lee County Highway Department.

Place of Performance
Delivery locations include various townships within Lee County, Illinois, specifically identified in the proposal documents.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must not have been convicted of bribery or attempted bribery against any officer or employee of the State of Illinois. They must also certify that they are not barred from contracting with any unit of State or local government due to violations of state laws prohibiting bid-rigging or bid rotating.
