SP Harassment, Discrimination, and Retaliation Training

Background
The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (ISTHA) is seeking qualified vendors to supply and deliver Harassment, Discrimination, and Retaliation Training for a three-year term.
The goal of this contract is to ensure that all employees are educated on the legal definitions and implications of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation in the workplace, thereby fostering a safer work environment.

Work Details
The vendor will provide in-person instructor-led training sessions lasting 1.5 hours each, designed to incorporate dialogue among participants.
The curriculum must cover:
- The legal definitions of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation;
- Behaviors that may constitute harassment;
- Responsibilities of supervisors and managers;
- Information requested during investigations;
- Examples of retaliatory behavior;
- Strategies for creating a workplace culture that discourages harassment.
The vendor must also prepare all participant materials including guides, handouts, exercises, and visual aids relevant to the training topic.
Training sessions should be flexible in scheduling, accommodating various employee work hours including early mornings and late evenings.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence approximately on July 1, 2025, for a duration of three years.

Place of Performance
Training will be conducted at the Illinois Tollway Central Administrative Office located at 2700 Ogden Avenue, Downers Grove, IL 60515, as well as remote locations as necessary.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must have trainers with a minimum of five years of experience in delivering workplace harassment training.
They must submit resumes for verification.
Compliance with Standard Illinois Certifications is required throughout the contract term.
Vendors must also ensure that all training materials are reviewed by the Tollway at least three weeks prior to training.
