RR-24-9297 Systemwide Pavement Marking Improvements

Background
The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (ISTHA) is issuing Contract No: RR-24-9297 for Systemwide Pavement Marking Improvements. This contract aims to enhance the safety and visibility of roadways across the Illinois Tollway System, which includes major tollways such as the Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88), Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355), Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90), Tri-State Tollway (I-94/I-294/I-80), and Illinois Route 390 Tollway.

The work is crucial for maintaining effective traffic management and ensuring public safety.

Work Details
The contract involves several key tasks:

1. Replacing various widths and types of pavement marking lines, letters, and symbols at multiple locations;
2. Removing existing pavement markings;
3. Grooving for recessed pavement markings;
4. Installing new pavement markings.

The work will be performed across various counties including Boone, Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Lake, Lee, McHenry, Ogle, Whiteside, Will, and Winnebago.

Period of Performance
The work is scheduled to commence on or about April 21, 2025, and must be completed by May 29, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed systemwide across the Illinois Tollway System.
