Background
The Village of Northbrook is issuing a Request for Bids for the procurement of 15% liquid sodium hypochlorite, which is essential for potable water treatment at the Village's water plant.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the provision of high-quality materials that meet established safety and quality standards.

Work Details
The selected vendor will supply 15% liquid sodium hypochlorite that complies with American Water Works Association (AWWA) Standard B300-10 and ANSI/NSF Standard 60 certification for use in potable water treatment.
The estimated annual usage is approximately 200,000 pounds, with deliveries not exceeding 4,000 gallons per order.
Each delivery must include a 500 ml sample and a Certificate of Analysis.
Prices quoted must encompass all delivery and transportation costs.
Deliveries will be accepted only at Northbrook's unmanned Lake Front Pump Station during specified hours (7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday).

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on May 1, 2026, and conclude on April 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to Northbrook's unmanned Lake Front Pump Station located at 1195 Sheridan Road, Glencoe, Illinois.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must provide certificates of insurance evidencing minimum coverage as specified in the solicitation.
This includes Workers' Compensation, Business Automobile Liability, Commercial General Liability, and Umbrella Liability with specific limits outlined in the document.
Vendors are also required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
