Public Works Window Replacement

Background
The City of Rock Island Public Works Department is considering the replacement of windows in the Engineering Division. The proposed project aims to replace the existing windows with commercial-grade options to enhance functionality and aesthetics, improve energy efficiency, and contribute to employee comfort.

Work Details
The scope of services includes the removal of existing windows, installation of new windows, necessary restoration, and any additional tasks required for a high-quality result.
Vendors are asked to provide options for operable windows or ventilation windows as well as fixed windows. The proposal should include a detailed breakdown of pricing, an estimated timeline for completion, and a detailed product submittal outlining the proposed commercial window system's specifications, features, certifications, and relevant information.

Period of Performance
A mandatory project walk-through will be held on Monday, March 18th at 9:00 AM. All questions and requests for clarifications must be submitted no later than March 20th.
RFP submissions must be received no later than Friday April 12th at 10:00 AM.

Place of Performance
The project will take place at the Rock Island Public Works Engineering division located at 1309 Mill Street, Rock Island, IL.
