Potable Water Distribution System Improvements - Contract C Pumping, Storage & Water Mains

Background
The City of Bloomington, Illinois is issuing a solicitation for the Potable Water Distribution System Improvements under Contract C, which focuses on Pumping, Storage, and Water Mains.

Work Details
The contract involves general construction of water distribution facilities, including sitework, yard piping, structural and architectural work, process piping and equipment installation, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), electrical work, and instrumentation and control systems.

- Construction of a new 22.5 million gallons per day (MGD) water pump station.
- Upgrades to an existing 4.5 MGD booster station.
- Installation of two new 5 million gallon (MG) ground storage tanks.
- Construction of a new 36-inch water main.
- Improvements to existing water mains.
- Rehabilitation of an existing 0.4 MG elevated storage tank.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon the issuance of the Notice to Proceed and will continue until all specified work is completed as per the agreed timelines outlined in the contract documents.

Bidder Requirements
