The City of Aurora, Illinois, is seeking qualified contractors for the construction of a new 7,600 square foot asphalt parking lot intended to provide overflow parking for the Phillips Park Golf Course.
This project aims to enhance the accessibility and functionality of the golf course by accommodating additional vehicles during peak usage times.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Construction of a 7,600 square foot asphalt parking lot.
- Installation of an aggregate base.
- Asphalt paving.
- Construction of curb and gutter along with parking stops.
- Application of pavement markings.
- Creation of a small level spreader area with a vegetated lip to manage water runoff effectively.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and acceptance and is expected to be completed within the timeframe specified in the bid proposal, which will be determined based on contractor scheduling and city requirements.

The work will be performed at Phillips Park Golf Course, located in Aurora, Illinois.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide evidence of capability to perform the work as specified, including participation in active apprenticeship and training programs approved by the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training.
Additionally, bidders must submit proof of insurance coverage, including public liability, property damage, and workers' compensation insurance acceptable to the City.
The successful bidder must also furnish a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract amount.
