Phase III Engineering

Background
The City of Naperville is seeking qualified vendors to provide engineering construction services for various Capital Improvement Projects (CIP). These projects will include improvements to intersections and roadways, sidewalk construction, traffic signals, stormwater management, bridges, and multi-purpose paths. The City intends to select multiple firms on an as-needed basis to assist with these projects.

Work Details
The Consultant will perform professional engineering services including but not limited to:

- Serving as the City's engineering representative
- Providing consultation and advice during project execution
- Adhering to a Quality Control and Quality Assurance Plan
- Completing work according to agreed project schedules
- Endorsing all final engineering reports and contract documents

The Consultant must employ licensed professionals as required by Illinois law and ensure compliance with safety requirements during field activities. Additionally, the Consultant will be responsible for submitting monthly progress reports detailing project activities.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is eight (8) years from the date of award. Work orders will be issued during the first five (5) years, with the remaining term reserved for project completion.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Naperville, Illinois.

Bidder Requirements
The Consultant must employ only licensed professionals in accordance with Illinois law. They must also provide proof of insurance coverage before contract award and maintain it throughout the contract duration. Any subcontracting requires prior approval from the City.
