Pawnee Warehouse-Labor and materials for electrical repair and HVAC replacement

Background
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) is issuing this contract for the Pawnee Warehouse to facilitate necessary repairs and upgrades to the facility's electrical and HVAC systems. The goal of this contract is to ensure the facility operates efficiently and safely, aligning with the agency's mission to manage and protect Illinois' natural resources.

Work Details
The contractor will provide labor and materials for the following tasks:

1. Repair electrical systems as needed.
2. Install a new furnace and air conditioning unit.
3. Provide and install all required gas, refrigerant, and drain piping.
4. Rework electrical systems as necessary for the new HVAC installation.
5. Provide and install all ductwork associated with the HVAC system.
6. Install an outlet for the garage door using a local circuit.
7. Install two receptacles with a new circuit in the gun cleaning room.
8. Install an outdoor wall pack light above the exterior walk-through door.
9. Install four new lights in the large storage area.
10. Conduct startup procedures at the conclusion of all repairs to ensure all systems are operational.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified period that will be detailed in the final agreement, typically expected to be completed within several months from the start date.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the IDNR Pawnee Pershbacher Facility located in Pawnee, Illinois.

Bidder Requirements
A minimum of fifty-one percent (51%) of the work must be completed by the Prime Contractor on this project.
