Leadership Development Consultant

Background
The College of DuPage, a prominent community college serving over 28,000 students near Chicago, Illinois, is seeking proposals for a Leadership Development Consultant. This initiative aims to design and implement a comprehensive Leadership Development Program that aligns with the institution's priorities and the vision of its President. The program's goal is to enhance leadership effectiveness, foster collaboration, and build organizational capacity across all divisions of the College.

Work Details
The selected consultant will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the Vice President of Organizational Development to design and implement a Leadership Development Program.
- Building a cohesive leadership team through targeted coaching and mentoring initiatives.
- Conducting an environmental assessment of organizational structures and facilitating strategic planning sessions.
- Implementing Leadership 360 assessments for feedback and growth opportunities.
- Facilitating two Leadership Challenge workshops to enhance leadership behaviors.
- Providing confidential mentoring and executive coaching for approximately 20 senior leaders, focusing on skill development in areas such as decision-making and communication.
- Delivering training materials for future use by college leadership and staff, including documentation of continuous improvement frameworks and individual professional development plans.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of this engagement is approximately six months, beginning January 2, 2026, through June 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the College of DuPage located at 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must demonstrate extensive experience in higher education leadership development and strategic planning. They should provide evidence of successful coaching engagements with senior leaders and have proven capacity in institutional transformation strategies. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to include certifications related to leadership development.
