Lead Paint Analyzer - IFB Brand Name Only

Background
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) is seeking bids from responsible vendors to procure lead paint analyzers.

The Office of Health Protection, specifically the Division of Environmental Health, aims to replace older lead paint analyzers with modern models that do not use radioactive isotopes, thereby enhancing safety and efficiency in lead detection across Illinois.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of ten (10) SciAps X-550 Pb Lead Paint Analyzer kits. Each kit must include:
- one SciAps X-550 Pb Lead Paint Analyzer
- two Li+ Ion batteries
- one battery charger
- one AC adapter and charger for the battery
- one compatible screwdriver
- one USB drive compatible with the instrument
- one calibration block for linear or quadratic lead calibration
- spare windows
- one USB cord compatible with the instrument
- one hard transport case (dimensions: 8.5" x 9.5" x 2.4").

The analyzers must feature quick mode for PCS testing and timed mode for industrial Pb testing, along with built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS connectivity and the capability to report up to 32 elements with an upgrade. All items must be new and unused; remanufactured items will not be accepted. A five-year warranty from the manufacturer is required for all supplied products. Delivery of the analyzers must occur within 30 days of contract execution.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is one (1) year from the date of execution. The total term may extend up to ten (10) years including any renewals or extensions.

Place of Performance
Delivery will be made to a location in Springfield, Illinois as specified by IDPH.
