Laderman Park Improvements

Background
The City of Belleville, located in St. Clair County, Illinois, is undertaking the Laderman Park Improvements project to enhance the park facilities. The goal of this contract is to improve accessibility and functionality of the park area from Mascoutah Avenue to the parking area, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Work Details
The project includes various construction activities such as:
- Milling and resurfacing existing asphalt pavement.
- Widening the aggregate base.
- Installing a concrete toe wall in one continuous pour without joints.
- Performing ditching for proper drainage.
- Installing drainage structures and culverts as per specifications.
- Placing rip rap for erosion control.

All other necessary work required for the improvements to Laderman Park must be completed within 60 calendar days after receiving Notice to Proceed. An additional 10 working days will be allocated for final seeding and site restoration.

Period of Performance
The contractor must complete all work within 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed for substantial completion. An additional 10 working days will be allowed for final seeding, site restoration, final inspection, punch list items, and cleanup.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Laderman Park near Belleville, Illinois, specifically from Mascoutah Avenue to the parking area.
