JPMC Wireless/Cellular Services

Background
The Department of Innovation and Technology, in collaboration with the Chief Procurement Officer for General Services (CPO-GS), aims to establish a joint purchase master contract for Wireless and Cellular Services. This initiative is part of the State of Illinois' efforts to enhance communication services across its agencies, ensuring efficient connectivity and operational effectiveness.

Work Details
The contract will encompass the provision of Wireless and Cellular Services, which may include but are not limited to: mobile voice services, data services, equipment provisioning (such as smartphones and tablets), network management, and customer support services.

The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all services meet the technical specifications outlined in the solicitation documents. Additionally, the contractor must adhere to the Business Enterprise Program (BEP) and Veterans Business Program (VBP) participation goals as specified in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is expected to commence upon award and continue for a duration specified in the final agreement. This may potentially include options for renewal based on performance metrics.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily within the State of Illinois, with specific locations determined by agency needs and service requirements.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with BEP/VBP participation goals established by the State of Illinois. This includes submitting a Utilization Plan (U-Plan) that outlines how they will engage certified BEP/VBP vendors.

Bidders must also demonstrate Good Faith Efforts if unable to meet these goals fully. Certification as a BEP or VBP vendor is required for any subcontractors utilized in fulfilling this contract.
