JPMC Janitorial Supplies

Background
The Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS), in cooperation with the Chief Procurement Officer for General Services, aims to establish a Joint Purchase Master Contract for janitorial supplies. This contract will facilitate governmental units and qualified not-for-profit agencies in purchasing necessary janitorial supplies on an as-needed basis during the contract period.

The initiative is designed to streamline procurement processes and ensure that all specifications and pricing are extended to all eligible entities.

Work Details
The contract encompasses a variety of janitorial supplies including but not limited to: gloves, plastic bottles, cleaners, dishwashing compounds, mop buckets, mops, oil chemicals, waste receptacles, brooms, heavy-duty degreasers, toilet bowl cleaners, deodorant blocks, detergents/disinfectants for washrooms, doormats, lambs wool dusters, recycled janitorial supplies, sanitizing and disinfectant products, and hand soap.

All institutional disinfectant products must be registered with the US EPA as antimicrobial products effective against bloodborne pathogens. Vendors are required to provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for each toxic substance shipped. The vendor must also report annually on contract usage across governmental units and not-for-profit agencies.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is four (4) years from the date of execution. The total term may not exceed ten (10) years including any renewals or extensions.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within the State of Illinois with deliveries made to various governmental units and qualified not-for-profit agencies as specified in individual orders.
