Janitorial services for Champaign, IL Driver Services Facility

Background
The Illinois Secretary of State is seeking bids for janitorial services at the Champaign Driver Services Facility located at 2012 Round Barn Road, Champaign, IL 61821.
The facility spans 6,000 square feet and requires regular cleaning services to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Work Details
The vendor will provide janitorial services five times per week, which include:
- **Restrooms:** Dust mopping, damp mopping, removing marks on tile floors, cleaning and polishing mirrors, disinfecting basins and fixtures, cleaning toilets and urinals, sanitizing sanitary receptacles (with paper bags supplied by the vendor), emptying wastebaskets (with plastic liners supplied by the vendor), maintaining soap dispensers, and spotting walls and stall partitions.
- **General Areas:** Dust mopping and damp mopping floors, vacuuming carpets (including under chairs), dusting furniture and surfaces within seven inches from the floor, removing spots from walls and glass, emptying wastebaskets, removing trash to outside containers, cleaning public telephone booths, and polishing drinking fountains.
- **Monthly Tasks:** Wiping down restroom walls and partitions, machine buffing floors, dusting lighting fixtures, washing windows inside and out.
- **Semi-Annual Tasks:** Stripping old wax from floors and applying five new coats of wax. Shampooing mats supplied by the Secretary of State’s Office in April and October.
- **Annual Tasks:** Cleaning ceiling light fixtures and shampooing all carpeted floors once a year in April.
The vendor must supply their own cleaning supplies using first quality products that meet industry standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, and conclude on June 30, 2027. The Illinois Secretary of State has the option to renew the contract for an additional two years.

All services will be performed at the Champaign Driver Services Facility located at 2012 Round Barn Road, Champaign, IL 61821.
