IFB Lumber and Plywood

Background
The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (Illinois Tollway) is dedicated to providing and promoting a safe and efficient system of toll-supported highways while ensuring the highest possible level of service to its customers. This contract aims to furnish and deliver assorted #2 Grade lumber, plywood, particle board, and Masonite on an as-needed basis for a two-year term. This procurement is part of the Small Business Set Aside Program.

Work Details
The vendor is required to furnish and deliver the following supplies on an as-needed basis: assorted #2 Grade lumber (including Pine, Douglas Fir, or Spruce), plywood, particle board, and Masonite. Specific items include:
- #2 Grade Lumber:
- 1" x 8" x 8'
- 2" x 4" x 8'
- 2" x 4" x 12'
- 2" x 12" x 12'
- 2" x 6" x 12'
- #2 Construction Grade Cedar:
- 1" x 6" x 8' Cedar
- Plywood (per U.S. Department of Commerce standards):

- ¼” x 4’ x 8’ A C
- ½” x 4’ x 8’ A C
- ¾” x 4’ x 8’ A C
- Particle Board:
- BCX Treated Plywood
- Medium Density Overlay (M D O)
- Poplar wood
- Panel Masonite Tempered Hardboard
- Maple wood
- Pine.
Quantities are estimated for determining the lowest bid but may vary over the contract term.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a two-year term commencing upon the last dated signature of the parties.

Place of Performance
Deliveries shall be made to the Illinois Tollway’s Carpenter Shop located at 3460 Finley Road, Downers Grove, IL, during business hours.
