Work Details
The contract involves the supply of silver and gold 7-point star badges with specific design and material requirements. The silver badge specifications include:
- Design: Seven-point star with leaf design, die struck for maximum detail.
- Size: 2 and 7/8 inches from point to point.
- Lettering: Features a 1.5-inch circular enameled black background with raised lettering stating 'DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS'.
- Finish: Plated rhodium over nickel substrate, polished to a brilliant luster, with a satin black finish on the back.
- Packaging: Each badge must be individually packaged in a clear poly bag.

The gold badge specifications include:
- Design: Similar to the silver badge, also die struck for detail.
- Size: Same as silver badge.
- Lettering: Identical to silver badge specifications.
- Finish: Gold-tone material requiring no surface plating, with a clear baked lacquer coating for durability.
- Packaging: Each badge must be individually packaged in a clear poly bag.

Quantities are estimated, and the agency reserves the right to increase numbers if necessary. A sample of the badges is requested before award.

Period of Performance
The initial term of this contract is three (3) years, commencing upon execution by both parties. The total term shall not exceed ten (10) years including any extensions.
