IDOC - HVAC and Chiller Services - 1 year

Background
The Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide HVAC and chiller services for the Centralia Correctional Center. This contract is necessary due to the previous vendor, JPMC, declining future work. The goal is to ensure the facility's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are maintained and operational until a new vendor is procured.

Work Details
The contractor will perform repair and maintenance of all HVAC and chiller units throughout the Centralia Correctional Center. This includes but is not limited to refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, heat pumps, ice machines, water coolers, and other miscellaneous heating and cooling equipment.

Specific services include general and emergency service for repair, maintenance, and minor alterations to:
- Heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems including chillers
- Absorption machines
- Air-cooled units
- Rooftop units
- Condensers
- Evaporators
- A/C units
- Air handling units
- Steam boilers
- Hot water boilers
- Pumps
- Heat exchangers/converters
- Exhaust fans
- Pressure reducing valve stations
- Operating controllers
- Temperature control systems.

The contractor must furnish all labor, materials (including parts sold at cost), tools, and equipment necessary for these services. Emergency service must be provided within two hours of request.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will last for one year.

Centralia Correctional Center; 9330 Shattuc Road, Centralia, IL 62801.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be licensed and qualified to perform HVAC services. They must comply with all applicable laws and regulations including those related to prevailing wage requirements. Vendors are required to maintain insurance coverage as specified in the contract. Subcontracting is not allowed.
