I-25-4768 (I-490) Grading/Drainage Improvements Beeline Dr to Supreme DR MP3.0 to MP4.0

Background
The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority is issuing this contract for grading and drainage improvements along the Elgin O'Hare Western Access (I-490) from Beeline Drive to Supreme Drive, specifically between Mile Post 3.0 and Mile Post 4.0.

The project aims to enhance infrastructure in DuPage County, Illinois, ensuring better traffic flow and safety for users of the tollway.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for performing earthwork, grading, stockpile construction, Airport Operation Area fence and perimeter road construction, protection of aviation operation equipment and utilities, erosion and sediment control measures, landscaping, drainage improvements, and other miscellaneous work as specified in the contract documents.

The work will be conducted within the Elgin O'Hare Western Access Tollway (I-490) between Mile Post 3.0 and Mile Post 4.0.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and will continue until all work is completed as per the specifications outlined in the contract documents.

The services will be performed along the Elgin O'Hare Western Access Tollway (I-490) between Mile Post 3.0 and Mile Post 4.0 in DuPage County, Illinois.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be prequalified by IDOT if required by the solicitation. They are required to submit a Vendor Disclosure or IPG Active Registered Vendor Disclosure with their bid.

Additionally, bidders must comply with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goals as outlined in the special provisions. A Bid Bond must also be submitted with the bid. Bidders are encouraged to participate in programs that promote veteran small business participation.
