FY26 Q1 Supplemental - Grissom Camera Project - Due 11/25/2025 *Only Prequalified* Various Trades

Background
The Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is issuing a solicitation for the FY26 Q1 Supplemental Grissom Camera Project. The project aims to enhance the security infrastructure at Grissom School by upgrading and installing a new Genetec Security Camera system. This initiative aligns with CPS's mission to provide a safe and secure learning environment for students and staff.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services required to complete the work as specified in the contract documents for the installation and upgrade of a new Genetec Security Camera system for Grissom School located at 12810 S Escanaba Ave, Chicago, IL 60633. Key tasks include:

1) Upgrade existing systems to Genetec Security Center 5.11 Enterprise Flat System (System ID# GSC-240718-377401).

2) Install and configure Genetec Security Center 5.11 software on the server and up to four client workstations per school.

3) Label cameras within the Genetec application according to CPS naming conventions.

4) Document camera locations on shared network spec sheets provided by CPS OSSS.

5) Remove existing cameras and associated equipment, ensuring proper disposal or return to CPS Safety and Security.

6) Install new Axis cameras as reviewed during mandatory walkthroughs.

7) Install door contacts with specified wiring and programming in the Genetec system for event actions.

8) Integrate all cameras into the Genetec system ensuring compliance with CPS specifications.

9) Provide Cat-6 data drops connected to CPS network infrastructure within specified distances.

10) Provide training on the Genetec application for school staff, including documentation of training completion.

Period of Performance
The contract work must be completed by March 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at Grissom School located at 12810 S Escanaba Ave, Chicago, IL 60633.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be prequalified in various trades. If bid price exceeds $25,000, bidders must be signatory to relevant unions per terms of the Various Trades Contract and Project Labor Agreement. For bids over $75,000, MBE/WBE subcontractors must be included in submissions along with relevant forms.
