Background
The Illinois State Police (ISP) is seeking a vendor for a repair and maintenance contract specifically for their Datacard printing systems, namely the MX2100 and MX6100 models. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational efficiency and reliability of these printing systems through timely maintenance and repairs.

Work Details
The vendor will provide on-site service that includes all parts and labor necessary for repairs. Maintenance services will cover the replacement of standard parts, technical adjustments, cleaning, lubrication, and annual software updates for both MX2100 and MX6100 machines.

The vendor is required to send a repair technician within two business days of a service call, with all repairs conducted during normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM). The vendor must be certified to work on MX printers and must provide proof of certification prior to contract execution. Transportation and delivery costs are included in the pricing for maintenance services, with no additional charges incurred by ISP.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will commence upon execution and will last for five years. The total maximum term of the contract, including any renewals or extensions, shall not exceed ten years.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at ISP Headquarters located at 801 S 7th Street, Springfield IL 62703.
