Description

Notice of Emergency Contract Extension. This is the 3rd Emergency Purchase Extension from 04/1/2025 to 09/30/2025 for the Claimant Portal Services provided by No Check.
Background
The Department of Employment Security (DES) in Illinois is issuing this emergency contract extension to continue providing critical Claimant Portal services for Unemployment Insurance claimants.

The goal is to maintain the connection between IDES' benefit funding system (IBIS) and JP Morgan Chase, the current benefit banking vendor. This is the third emergency purchase extension, following previous extensions due to delays in the competitive procurement process for benefit banking services.
