DOC Lawrence cable television services -ll

Background
The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking to procure cable television programming services for the Lawrence Correctional Center. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of life for individuals in custody. The contract is intended to span five years, commencing in July 2025 and concluding in June 2030.

Work Details
The Vendor will provide all necessary services and equipment to deliver cable television programming to approximately 1150 televisions at the Lawrence Correctional Center. The required channel lineup includes local channels such as PBS, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and various entertainment channels including ESPN, CNN, and AMC.

The Vendor is responsible for installing and maintaining all equipment necessary for service delivery up to the taps at the living units. They must also maintain a 24/7 toll-free service line for support and dispatch technicians within 24-48 hours for service issues. The Vendor will conduct semi-annual television counts to adjust billing based on actual service usage. Additionally, they are required to provide two in-house channels for institutional messaging and DVD presentations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2030.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Illinois Standard Certifications and provide a Vendor Disclosure or IPG Active Registered Vendor Disclosure. They must also ensure that all personnel pass security background checks as mandated by the Illinois Department of Corrections.
