Background
The Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) is seeking bids for the rental of chiller units to provide cooling for the Administration and Programs buildings at Pontiac Correctional Center. This procurement is essential to ensure that these buildings can be adequately cooled during the summer months, as they will not function without this service.

Work Details
The contract requires the rental of two (2) 60-ton portable air-cooled chillers, including delivery and installation services. The chillers must meet specific operational requirements:
- Capable of outdoor operation with a complete microprocessor control center.
- Must have a single point power connection.
- Operate in low ambient temperatures down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit and high ambient temperatures up to 135 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Include brine mode functionality down to 15 degrees Fahrenheit.

The vendor must provide all necessary labor, tools, parts, and special equipment for installation. All work must comply with IDOC regulations, and the vendor's employees must pass security background checks before accessing the facility.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of two (2) years, with chillers required to be delivered and installed by June 1 of each contract year.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Pontiac Correctional Center located in Pontiac, Illinois.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be licensed and certified to perform the required services. They are also required to submit names and personal information for all employees who will work on-site for security background checks. Subcontractors may be utilized but must adhere to specific requirements if their contracts exceed $100,000.
