DOC/HVAC chiller rentals/AF

Background
The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking bids for the rental of two chiller units to provide cooling for the Administration and Programs buildings at Pontiac Correctional Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure adequate cooling during the summer months, specifically targeting a cooling capacity of approximately 60 tons.

Work Details
The contract requires the rental of two 60-ton portable air-cooled chillers, including delivery and installation services. The chillers must be compatible with existing equipment and include installation of water connection hoses and temporary electrical cables.

Specific requirements for the chillers include:
- 60-ton air-cooled chillers with pump
- Ready for outdoor operation
- Complete microprocessor control center
- Single point power connection
- Low ambient temperature operation to 0 degrees Fahrenheit
- High ambient temperature operation to 125 degrees Fahrenheit
- Brine mode to 15 degrees Fahrenheit.

The vendor must provide all labor, tools, parts, and special equipment necessary for installation and must be licensed and certified to perform these duties. All billing will be monthly and itemized, showing dates of service, location, and type of service rendered.

Period of Performance
The term of this contract is from June 2, 2025, through September 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at Pontiac Correctional Center located at 700 W. Lincoln St., Pontiac, IL 61764.
