Background
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) is responsible for managing the state's natural resources, including fish hatcheries. The goal of this contract is to provide maintenance and repair services for pumps and drives at the Jake Wolf Fish Hatchery in Topeka, IL, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

Work Details
The vendor will provide labor, materials, and equipment for pump and drive maintenance and repairs on an as-needed basis over a three-year period. Services include:
- General and emergency maintenance for various types of pumps (turbine, centrifugal, vertical sewage) and electrical drives/motors.
- Compliance with plumbing and electrical codes.
- Coordination with utility companies and other contractors to avoid interference.
- Reporting any defective equipment to the Hatchery Manager.
- Maintaining an adequate inventory of standard repair parts.
- Providing necessary contact information for emergency notifications.
- Scheduled maintenance notifications 24 hours in advance.
- Emergency response time not exceeding two hours.
- All work must be performed during normal working hours unless otherwise specified.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a three-year period from the date of award.

Bidder Requirements
The vendor must have a minimum of three years' experience in maintaining commercial pump and drive systems. They must comply with the Prevailing Wage Act and maintain general liability and workers' compensation insurance. The vendor is not allowed to utilize subcontractors for this contract.
