DHS SP FY27 Ludeman Ctr Waste Hauling Serv Items not on Master

Background
The Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a vendor to provide Waste Hauling Services for items not covered under the existing Master Contract for the Elisabeth Ludeman Center located at 114 N. Orchard Drive, Park Forest, IL 60466.
The goal of this contract is to ensure proper waste management and disposal in compliance with state regulations.

Work Details
The Vendor shall provide Waste Removal Services from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, which includes:
1. Provision of 46 Fifty-Gallon Toters with trash pick-up three times per week.
2. Provision of two 6 cu. yard recycling containers with trash pick-up once per week.
3. Supply of plastic liners for the toters during each trash pick-up.
4. All labor and materials/equipment necessary for service performance must be furnished by the Vendor.
5. Disposal of all waste must comply with all State of Illinois statutes and regulations.

Period of Performance
July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027

Place of Performance
Elisabeth Ludeman Center, 114 N. Orchard Drive, Park Forest, IL 60466

Bidder Requirements
The Vendor must maintain a Certificate of Insurance naming the State as additionally insured throughout the contract term and any renewals.
Insurance requirements include:
(a) General Commercial Liability in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 Annual Aggregate;
(b) Auto Liability in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence;
(c) Worker’s Compensation Insurance as required by law.
The Vendor's employees must demonstrate competence and experience in their work and comply with all applicable State/Federal laws including OSHA standards.
