DHS SP - FY26 Bottled Water Service - Shapiro

Background
The Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking to procure bottled water services for the Shapiro Center located at 100 E. Jeffery Street, Kankakee, IL 60901.
The goal of this contract is to ensure a consistent and reliable supply of bottled water for the center's operations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the weekly delivery of bottled water to the Shapiro Center.
This includes ensuring that the quantity and quality of water meet the specifications set forth by the State.
The vendor must comply with all relevant laws and regulations regarding the provision of bottled water services.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year from the date of execution, with options for renewal based on performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Shapiro Center, located at 100 E. Jeffery Street, Kankakee, IL 60901.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with the Minority Contractor Initiative if awarded a contract over $1,000, which includes a fee deduction from their first payment.
They are required to maintain appropriate insurance coverage and provide proof thereof.
Additionally, vendors must ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws and may be subject to background checks.
