Background
The Illinois State Police is seeking to procure evidence destruction and disposal services for a period of three years. This initiative is part of their mission to manage and dispose of evidence collected by sworn officers throughout the state, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Work Details
The vendor will provide evidence destruction and disposal services specifically for controlled substances such as cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, cannabis, drug paraphernalia, and blood/body fluid contaminated articles. The vendor must be located within a 150-mile radius of Springfield, IL and possess a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Part B Hazardous Waste Permit from the EPA.

Key requirements include:
1. Proof of EPA license at bid award.
2. Allowing a minimum of two ISP sworn personnel to witness the destruction.
3. Scheduling destruction no later than 14 days after ISP request.
4. Capability to accept loads of up to 3,000 lbs.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will last for three years. The total term, including any renewals or extensions, shall not exceed ten years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the vendor's licensed disposal facility within a 150-mile radius of Springfield, Illinois.
