Demo & Disconnect - Zvonik - 1509 43rd Street

Background
The City of Moline is issuing this solicitation as part of their Strong Communities Program 2 (SCP2) aimed at improving public health and safety, eliminating blight, and supporting neighborhood revitalization.
The project involves the demolition and utility disconnection of residential structures located at 1509 43rd Street, Moline, IL 61265.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. **Demolition**: Demolish and dispose of the structure(s) as per Moline Ordinances Section 3303 and Sections 8-7400 thru 8-7403. This includes breaking and hauling concrete foundation walls, footings, sidewalks, and flooring. No material from the house is to be left on site or used for fill. The property includes a residence, garage, sidewalks, fencing, tree, and laundry poles.

2. **Utility Disconnection**: Apply for and obtain a disconnect permit from the City of Moline Building Department. Disconnect and repair sewer and water at mains in the street including street cutting and patching.

3. **Tree Removal**: Remove four trees marked with a white X on the property. Grind stumps to an 18” grade and install topsoil to reseed all disturbed areas.

4. **Site Restoration**: Blow grass seed and straw mixture onto specified areas post-demolition to restore landscaping.

5. **Asbestos Management**: Follow EPA regulations regarding asbestos if encountered during demolition.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to commence after a formal Notice to Proceed is issued following contract award, with specific timelines outlined in the bid submission process.

The contract will be performed at 1509 43rd Street, Moline, IL 61265.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have an active SAM registration number. They are required to submit all necessary forms including State of Illinois Lead Abatement License, certified payroll templates, insurance documentation upon request, and must comply with all applicable local codes and ordinances.
